Terms of Service
Welcome to MI Tennis & Sports Centre. By accessing our venue in Melbourne or using our website and booking services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a court, participating in a social competition, or hosting a party at MI Tennis & Sports Centre, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and participants.
2. Bookings and Payments
Court Hire: Reservations for tennis, futsal, basketball, netball, pickleball, and indoor soccer are subject to availability.
Payments: All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation or as otherwise specified by our management team.
Cancellations: We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for court hire cancellations to be eligible for a credit or refund. Specific cancellation policies for parties and events are outlined in Section 3.
3. Parties and Special Events
- Bookings: A deposit is required to secure your party date.
- Supervision: While our staff assists with the coordination of activities, parents or guardians remain responsible for the overall behavior and safety of the children in the party areas.
- External Food: Please consult with our team regarding our policy on external catering and birthday cakes prior to your event.
4. Code of Conduct & Safety
To ensure a safe and inclusive environment, all visitors must:
- Wear appropriate non-marking athletic footwear on all court surfaces.
- Conduct themselves in a respectful, sportsmanlike manner. Foul language, aggressive behavior, or bullying will not be tolerated.
- Follow all staff instructions and safety signage posted throughout the facility.
- Acknowledge that sports involve inherent physical risks. Participants play at their own risk.
5. Facility Use & Equipment
Property Damage: Any damage to the facility, nets, or equipment caused by negligence or misuse will be the financial responsibility of the person who made the booking.
Operating Hours: Our doors open at 10:00 AM daily. All activities must conclude, and courts must be vacated by the end of your scheduled booking time.
6. Media and Photography
We often capture the “Fun in Action” for our gallery and social media. By entering the facility, you consent to the use of photography or video footage of your participation for promotional purposes unless you explicitly notify our staff otherwise in writing.
7. Limitation of Liability
MI Tennis & Sports Centre is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property sustained while on the premises, except in cases of proven gross negligence by the centre. We recommend that all participants have their own personal accident insurance.
8. Amendments
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our facility following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
